Out the Gap

With her second album, Out the Gap, accordionist Sharon Shannon creates a bewitching cultural cocktail. Produced by reggae producer Denis Bovell, Out the Gap features tracks that move easily from Irish traditional to rock to reggae. Guest stars include U2 bassist/guitarist Adam Clayton, jazz saxophonist Richie Buckley, fiddler Johnny T of the Stereo MC’s and ex-Waterboys, Noel Bridgman and Trevor Hutchinson.
