The House Band’s 1994 Green Linnet release Another Setting features new member Rodger Wilson (fiddle/guitar/vocals) alongside founding members Chris Parkinson (accordion/keyboard), Ged Foley (guitar and Northumbrian smallpipes), Jon Skelton (flute/whistle/bombarde). The band seamlessly incorporates Eastern European and Breton tunes with their familiar Scottish and Irish traditions, and they even add a set of African tunes into the mix. Considered to be one of the band’s strongest releases, Another Setting is a solid, thoroughly entertaining album.
