CD 2:  The FolkScene Collection, Volume Two

"Listening to this CD is like stumbling into a coffeehouse where the heavyweights have taken over open mike night." — The Boston Phoenix

The FolkScene Collection, Volume Two goes deeper yet into the show's vaults. It boasts a young Tom Waits, crooning his signature "The Heart of Saturday Night", recorded on air in January of 1975. Also included is the clear, spine tingling voice of Vince Gill on "Good Woman's Love" (recorded in March of 1978). Also features tracks from Greg Brown, Nanci Griffith, Stan Rogers, Lucinda Williams, Peter Case, Stephen Fearing, Eliza Gilkyson, Tom Russell, Patty Larkin, Chris Hillman and Jim Lauderdale.

CD 3:  The FolkScene Collection, Volume III

"All the cuts share an emotional intensity combined with an amazing intimacy; the performances are all truly inspired . . ." — Marco G. La Viola

For Volume III, Howard and Roz Larman hand-selected songs, well-crafted songs, sung by seasoned veterans and recorded with a sound quality that is arguably even better than the first two volumes. In keeping with an established tradition, Volume III ends with a cut recorded live at an LA concert where Lorenna McKennitt delivers an arrangement of "Huron 'Beltane' Fire Dance" not recorded anywhere else all in the capable hands of sound engineer Peter Cutler. Also features tracks from Jackson Browne, Guy Davis, Cheryl Wheeler, David Lindley & Wally Ingram, Kate Wolf, Laurie Lewis, Katy Moffatt & Rosie Flores, The Joel Rafael Band, Janis Ian, Michael Johnson, Bryndle, The Alpha Band.
