Nashville-based Americana/newgrass Rosine reimagines Men at Work's 1983 classic "Overkill" as an acoustic bluegrass/newgrass tune, with Colin Hay himself singing harmony and playing 12-string guitar. Trading the original’s sax and new wave sheen for mandolin and close vocal harmonies, the arrangement brings out the late-night worry at the heart of the song. It’s a rare cover with its writer on board.
