The Paul McKenna Band are quick rising stars in the Scottish/Irish traditional scene, going from strength to strength, touring extensively throughout the UK, USA, Canada and Europe and now releasing their 4th studio album ELEMENTS on August 27th. With a contemporary approach to songs, although not straying too far from their roots, their arrangements are both fresh and innovative, created by the solid lead vocals and guitar of Paul McKenna, the driving bouzouki and mandolin of David McNee, the rhythmic fiddle and banjo of Mike Vass and the melodic flute and whistles of Sean Gray, plus the explosive beat of Ewan Baird's bodhran.

“The best folk band to have come out of Scotland in the last twenty years” —New York Times
“A band with the potential to dominate the Scottish/Irish traditional scene for the next twenty years” —Fatea Magazine
